At Marmadukes, we appreciate the concerns and misgivings some of you will feel about purchasing expensive items from the Internet. After all, you probably know very little about us and we know even less about you. It does all sound rather ominous. Well, let us put your mind at complete ease. We are confident that you will be so happy with your purchase, that we will reimburse your money if, for any reason, you are not totally satisfied. We cannot be fairer than that.

At Marmadukes, we offer you TWO ways of purchasing. Whichever of the two ways you choose, there is one thing for certain - your money is safe!

Basically, you can elect to fast-track your order by using our online shopping facility, paying by debit or credit card. By using this method, your funds will be held by PayPal®, acting as an intermediate 'honest broker'. Your funds will be held by PayPal® until we have completed the transaction (i.e. delivered your goods to you). Only then, will PayPal® release your funds as payment to us.

Alternatively, you can elect to order the goods via E mail and only make your payment to us when the goods are safely delivered to your home. The Marmadukes Guarantee offered here, is in addition to, and will not affect your statutory Consumer Rights. If having ordered any of the goods for sale on our website, you decide that your expectations have not been satisfied, we will then refund you for the goods. We have to be realistic when offering this guarantee - and we feel 7 days is a reasonable period to allow you to make that decision. We have always found that fairness and satisfaction go a long way in business. In the same spirit of fairness, we would expect that the nature of dissatisfaction be fair and reasonable too. In our opinion, an example of an unreasonable and unfair claim would be: To state that the piece of furniture you've ordered clashes with your wallpaper. In such cases, we would feel obliged to charge for collection. We think you will agree to that being reasonable and fair.
